Workshop Proposal Application

The 2026 workshop proposal application is closed. Our annual workshop proposal deadline is July 1.

We welcome proposals for two types of workshops that address racial and social justice:
1. Interactive workshops that explore a social justice issue or lesson through hands on, participatory activities.
2. Panel discussions that include two or more facilitators engaging different aspects of a specific topic (like teaching Ethnic Studies, untracking classes, social justice and the science classroom, implementing Black Lives Matter Week of Action activities) with time for participants to discuss the topic in small groups.

We especially encourage BIPOC and Queer educators and community members to submit. We also encourage submissions in special education, early childhood, elementary, math, and science.

Note: We are no longer accepting proposals for this year’s conference. Please check back in April 2027 to submit a proposal next year.
